DR5 CHROME E6 BLACK AND WHITE NEGATIVE

DIGITAL SLIVER SCALA BLACK AND THITE SLIDE

ILFORD SFX - Ei: 100~250
NORMAL dr5 ISO: 200

SFX has a very slight, hazy-METALIC cool neutral look in developer 1-neutral. In developer 2-sepia SFX with stunning metallic sepia/selenium tones. This is a very unique film type and we were happy to see ILFORD bring it back into production. Like SCALA SFX is a sharp 200 speed film. In dr5 it holds its factory speed @ 200. We dont recommend drifting off from this speed. SFX has little exposure latitude in dr5. The DMAX is low because of its infrared qualities, around 3.00. One you get the particulars of exposing this film the image quality is pricless.

It is possible to obtain some IR effects with SFX using the darkest filters. Exposure will depend on the scene and it is suggeted you test using filtration.

Use SFX as a normal film, without filtration.

NOTE: of all the films that run in dr5, SFX is the only film that reacts differently in dev-1 from dev-2. at times and in certain lighting conditions SFX may be difficult to guess the exposure due to its infrared traits. SFX may produce a lighter image in dev-1 than in dev-2.
